So, about me: I'm a disabled veteran, former law enforcement officer, and currently a stay at home mom. Through some trial and error I've (more or less) gotten a handle on how to raise kids while maintaining some common sense preps, all on half the income we had before.
Hopefully my two cents worth will help someone help
themselves and their families, not claiming to be an expert or anything, but I
have experience growing vegetables in arid climates, preserving your harvest
(pickling, drying, canning), rainwater harvesting, food storage (and cooking
with same), prepping in suburbia, home security,
soapmaking, backyard eggs, raising rabbits, and household budgeting.
